The Rapture Index- A Barometer For Armageddon?

Froom the website:

The Rapture Index has two functions: one is to factor together a number of related end time components into a cohesive indicator, and the other is to standardize those components to eliminate the wide variance that currently exists with prophecy reporting.

The Rapture Index is by no means meant to predict the rapture, however, the index is designed to measure the type of activity that could act as a precursor to the rapture.

You could say the Rapture index is a Dow Jones Industrial Average of end time activity, but I think it would be better if you viewed it as prophetic speedometer. The higher the number, the faster we're moving towards the occurrence of pre-tribulation rapture.

Rapture Index of 85 and Below: Slow prophetic activity
Rapture Index of 85 to 110: Moderate prophetic activity
Rapture Index of 110 to 145: Heavy prophetic activity
Rapture Index above 145: Fasten your seat belts

The first ad in the automated Google box, when I first saw the site, was headed "Australian Terrorism Laws" . I kid you not !

The "Rapture Index" should really be labeled the "Tribulation Index." Or the "Second Coming to Earth Index." Why? Because far from the 40+ "precursors" applicable to only a PREtribulation time frame, they actually continue AFTER the time alloted for a pretrib rapture and reach fulfillment only at the final advent of Christ to earth AFTER the tribulation! One "precursor" is the "Antichrist." But since Strandberg believes that he won't be known until halfway through the tribulation, how can he be a "sign post" to himself long before he actually is revealed? Looks like Strandberg is straining at a tribulation "gnat" and swallowing a pretrib rapture "camel"! For further info, go to engines like Google and type in "Open Letter to Todd Strandberg." Also type in "Pretrib Rapture Diehards" to find out exactly how the "glorious" pretrib rapture sprang from a 19th century delusion. Sis. Louise
